Chabot handles Cañada with ease.

Keshon Miller. \\ March 13, 2026.

Chabot’s offense was on fire on Thursday as they had scored twelve runs to five on the road, to get a win over Cañada, thanks to a relentless effort from the lineup and a pair of big swings from Joseph Coupland and Braden Spade, ending up scoring in six different innings, and they never trailed. Just having a great, improved rhythm during this game at the plate with one of their most complete hitting performances of the whole season.

Coupland set the standard really early and wide with a solo Homer in the first, then proceeded to blow the game open in the fourth with a three-run homer, his second of the day, which made the game six runs to zero then Spade added his own exclamation point in the whole misstep in the 9th, launching a two run Homer as part of a four run inning that sealed the win for the Chabot Gladiators.

Evan Wahilani Yau was really poised as he had three hits and two RBI’s while Luca Boccasile doubled twice and drove in a run. As Elijah Cernak pushed out two hits and an RBI, and the Glads swiped 7 bags as their pressure never let up.

On the mound, Aiden Perry earned the win with four innings of one‑run ball, striking out five. After a shaky sixth that allowed Cañada to pull within 6–5, Declan Casey steadied everything with 3.2 strong innings to lock down his first save.
