Feather River Crushes Chabot in Final Home Game, 63–14

With one road game scheduled against San Joaquin Delta, the Chabot Gladiators closed out
their 2025 home slate in brutal fashion, falling 63–14 to the undefeated Feather River Golden
Eagles in a lopsided showdown.
Feather River struck early and often, scoring on their first play from scrimmage with a 34-yard
flea flicker touchdown pass from Kayden Leaf to Kyle Valdez. The Golden Eagles piled on 28
points in the first quarter alone, including a fumble recovery touchdown by Marco Casci just two
seconds after their second score. By halftime, the dominace was in full swing with Feather River
leading 49–0.
Sophomore running back Janerious Jackson led the charge with 162 rushing yards and two
touchdowns on just 11 carries. Leaf threw three touchdowns, while Valdez hauled in two scores,
including a 73-yard strike from backup Jackson Ovard. Feather River finished with 609 yards of
total offense, averaging 11.1 yards per play.
Chabot, who are now (1–8) showed good grit towards the closing minutes of the game with two
fourth-quarter touchdowns from quarterback Yan Arias, who connected with Jamir Collier and
Kemani Blackmon. Arias completed 19 of 29 passes for 159 yards, but the Gladiators struggled
to move the ball consistently, managing just 220 total yards and converting only 4 of 12 third
downs.
Defensively, Casci led Feather River with six solo tackles and a fumble recovery touchdown,
while Aiden Hall added a sack and tackle for loss. Chabot’s Oziah Clement paced the Gladiators
with seven solo tackles.
As the Gladiators prepare for their season finale on the road, they’ll look to regroup and finish
strong after a tough home sendoff. GO GLADS!!!!!
