This year Chabot started off the semester with a back to school cookout. The cookout consisted of fun games food and even a ticket raffle. There was also some food for free which consisted of hot dogs, drinks, and chips for students and staff to have.

Nayla Williams, A Chabot College student stated that, “ I like it , I’m here with my friends”. This shows that her and her friends were having a good time and truly enjoying themselves.

Ariel Goward, a student said that, “ The entertainment, the music, the food, everything’s good.” she truly enjoyed herself with all of the entertainment and the different aspects of the event. At the Chabot College cookout there were so many different things for student and staff to enjoy.

Cha Spears, a student at Chabot exclaimed, “It looks pretty cold, glad to get some food and everything, and the raffle is pretty cool.” She also said the “DJ sounds good.”

Lovee Reece said that, “I’m really enjoying being around people, meeting new people. I met two to three new people today and just feeling like a family.” this shows that these Chabot events are more than just events they are truly about having fun and meeting new people to create a great community and to have great goals in the future.

These events for Chabot College help create a community and start the school year off with something fun to bring everyone together.
