Siskiyous Soars Past Chabot in Dominant Home Win

Keshon Miller. \\ October 13, 2025.
In a lopsided matchup on Saturday, the Glads came off a bye week to play against the
Siskiyous Eagles, who overwhelmed the Chabot Gladiators with a commanding 43–3
victory. The Eagles came out firing on all cylinders, scoring an astonishing 29 points in
the first quarter alone, which set the tone for a game that quickly slipped out of Chabot’s
reach.
Siskiyous quarterback Brayden Schiefer had led the vicious charge by throwing for 170
yards and three touchdowns, including a 31-yard strike to Seth Arnett and a 23-yard
connection with David Wacenske, who finished with 115 receiving yards. The Eagles
special teams were also in sync,as they scored on a 61-yard punt return from Asher
Lucas late in the first quarter.
Chabot really struggled to find rhythm on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Yan Arias
threw three interceptions and was sacked once, while the offense managed just 148
total yards. Their lone score came from kicker Jacob Lewis, who nailed a 29-yard field
goal in the second quarter.
Notably absent from the lineup was Tariq Ford, whose presence was missed on both
offense and defense. Without Ford, Yan was the leading rusher for the Glads with 49
rushing yards. Hopefully the Glads get Ford back soon since he’s the heartbeat of their
run game.
The Eagles’ defense was dominant, forcing three interceptions and two fumbles while
holding Chabot to just 13% on third-down conversions. Running back Bryson McFall
added a 60-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to cap off Siskiyou’s scoring.
Chabot is now 1–5 on the season and will look to regroup as they prepare to host
Contra Costa next Saturday. After witnessing Siskiyous put up 29 points in just the first
quarter, the Gladiators will need a fast start and a full-team effort to bounce back at
home this Saturday against Contra Costa, they have to hit the ground with a full head of
steam moving forward. GO GLADS!!!!!!!!
